This interview with Scott Rasmussen was striking. He found that among all voters, 7% say they’d rather cheat than lose an election (if their candidate couldn’t be caught cheating), but among the 1%, a full 35% would rather cheat than lose. And among the politically obsessed 1%, 69% would rather cheat than lose the election. Startling…

It got me thinking…do we have similar issues in business organizations? Is it possible that leaders can be as disconnected from the populace of a company as the one percent are from the nation as a whole? So disconnected that they could support things like cheating to win?
